Well you could fly something that looks like one but isn't.

Buy ASW22.

Make molds from it.

Build glider in those molds.

Nothing to stop you using pushrods, hardware etc out of the one you bought.

Call it the AW1 (or Superpuppup).

Put 850 Kg on the gross weight when you apply for the Amateur built Experimental certificate.

Sadly the ASW22 that is for sale (at AU$70k landed in AUS), is sn29, so a small wingspan & limited to 750kg.

An offline response suggests pretty clearly I couldn't fly it at 850kg during a competition.

In the mean time, Schempp-Hirth all the way!
