Is that a recent change? It's not what I see with s-nail v14.9.11 on
a Debian system when using 'r' on a message with these headers:

From: aut...@example.com
To: rec...@example.com, rec...@example.com
Cc: aut...@example.com, c...@example.com, c...@example.com

It produces this:

To: aut...@example.com
Cc: rec...@example.com, rec...@example.com, aut...@example.com,
 c...@example.com, c...@example.com

I.e. it didn't remove author@... from Cc.
