Hello Peter, > Hello, I am bored. > > What should I do.
:-) Good thing that we have several things to do. > I am either going to write another Calc chapter, probably Working with > Multiple Worksheets, or I could keep reviewing documents. > > Will someone who has a better feel for our priorities please let me > know. I just had dinner with Jean (she's in the area) and we talked about the inmediate priorities for the user guide. The message I got from her was: #1 : Getting Started. #2 : Both Calc and Writer Guides. Jean is confident that GS can make it, and be very high quality, the day that OOo 2.0 comes out. Also, OOo 2.0 is going to reach a lot of new users, and the first book that they'll need is GS. I got the message that Calc and Writer were second because they are closer to completion. You'll remember that Draw and Database have been delayed by persistent bugs in the pre releases, which have only recently been solved. Jean lamented that the Writer Guide hadn't been reviewed as throughly. So though the chapters are written, their quality is not so high. Judging from that, all the current review list items are good to review. But I think Jean might prefer "Introduction to Data Sources", since that goes in the Getting Started guide. Of course, it's always good to pick a file you think you'll enjoy reviewing. Cheers, -- Daniel Carrera | I don't want it perfect, Join OOoAuthors today! | I want it Tuesday. http://oooauthors.org |
