I have "Working with Tables (Write Guide)"

Not a top priority chapter according to the list below but anyhow in a migrating
status, from V1 to V2 and the new template/copyright). I hope I can submit
it for review in a couple of days.

I didn't list it as top priority because I knew you were working on it. My list was of chapters looking for an author. All unfinished chapters in the Writer, Getting Started, and Calc guides is "top priority" -- even those with known authors. :-)

Has anyone heard from the author of the V1 version ...or should
I continue updating/maintaining, altough I do not have as much reviewing
experience as the people you mentioned?

No, we haven't heard from Vincenzo.

If we do not hear from the original author I can rewrite the text and create
new examples (currently this chapter is a "describe-by-creating-some-examples"
chapter).

Please continue rewriting and creating new examples. Daniel might have more to say about this, since he is working on another of Vincenzo's chapters.

Does anybody have a list of contributors to this chapter? In the chapter itself
only the italian guy is mentioned.

Jean Hollis Weber and Peter Kupfer are contributors. I'm fairly sure Peter did the topic on "Using mathematical functions in a table", but he can tell us for sure.

Do cut out the topic "Invisible Tables" as this is covered in another chapter.

Cheers, Jean
