My apologies for the delay in this reply, but I have been incommunicado at "me mum's".
Daniel, my interpretation of your reply is that you felt offended by my comments about the Introduction to Styles document. I am, in fact, so impressed with this document I want to use it as the basis for one of my presentations at LCA 2005 OpenOffice.org Miniconf. The comments that I was making were changes that I wanted to make so that I could do so, comfortably. Why choose an oooauthors document as the basis for a presentation? Because it raises the profile of oooauthors and the way that we work as a team to produce excellent documentation. Jean, I had intended to do, as I said that I would in my last post, to create a separate document, but while I was incommunicado and working on this separate document on a very sloooow computer (my laptop), I changed my mind but couldn't discuss this change in approach, so I have just done it. I have posted a suggested revised version of Introduction to Styles. The file name is "DoingItWithStyle" as that is the name of my presentation and so the name I gave my initial attempt, which I then merged back with Introduction to Styles. As a consequence of this merging I haven't used change revision. So having broken most guidelines (through a consequence of circumstance), I am now asking people to pull to bits the revised document. I have attempted (possibly not successfully) to retain the original flavour/style of the document while including things that I consider to be important. The document has increased in size by two pages. I have uploaded the file to: http://oooauthors.org/en/authors/userguide2/writer/feedback/DoingItWithStyle.sxw and have submitted it for review. Thanks, Ian
