After a misguided start on the main boards, I was directed
here by Nostabo. Here's what I posted . . .
- I'm willing to do some review work. I have some experience in
technical
- publication proofing. I do not make much use of OO Writer, presently, but
- my wife does - and keeps asking me questions that I can't answer!
- Would it be too much to ask that someone (an author) sends me a
- document for which a review is sought? For consistency and to avoid
- undue "pick-up time," something that is largely complete is best.
- Anything that references other manuals or absent chapters is hard
- to accurately proof for common expressions and syntax consistency.
- Both our PCs are running v1 x, so it seems an upgrade will be necessary.
- I might need some help with that. Mainly to ensure my wife's documents
- are preserved. (And my head!)
