I think the important thing is to use Notes or Comments 
and NOT inline comments in the text itself. Isn't that what Peter 
meant, by the way? For newcommers we point primary to the Insert>Note 
function but if someone starts using Edit>Changes>Comment that is fine 
too. :-) As long as there is *no inline comments in the text itself*.
