I've said in a private mail and I say it again ... collect the facts, what is so "stupid" about the PDL and ask the people who have developed it do think about a revision. For the moment .. I really understand, that PDL is not very easy to handle, so I think, a new revision is worth thinking about. But I don't read arguments here .. I read "it's stupid" and "I don't like it". I'm happy, that Daniel brought in the idea to release the work of OOoAuthors as original documentation under PDL, as this would help to sort out some bad moods within the project. And it's a way to think about working together instead of just saying "leave me alone". (If we all agree that it's our will to be left alone, we wouldn't need to discuss about licenses .. we just need to put our copyright on our works .. and that's it).
