OOo has a tiny portion of the Windows > market, and a hugely dominant portion of the Linux market. It doesn't > seem possible that 80% of our users be on Windows. as said .. derived from the homepagevisits (assuming, that visitors at our homepage are users as well): http://stats.services.openoffice.org/stats/ooologs/#os And I've done a review of our users survey (sorry, it's rather old and german only): http://de.openoffice.org/marketing/umfragen/user_survey_1.0.1/analyse_usersurvey_1.0.html http://de.openoffice.org/marketing/umfragen/user_survey_1.0.1/analyse_usersurvey_1.0_html_32f461ac.gif I'm following this stats from time to time .. but don't write the numbers down .. so it's OTH that percentage of Windows users is even growing. This doesn't mean, that Linux is not successfull at the desktop. This only means that OOo is more successfull on the desktop than Linux is. What the numbers above do not show is, that many users seem to use multiple platforms.
