Those numbers look reasonable. Yes, I wouldn't be surprised to hear that
Linux is behind Windows.

If not, just one Question: On what base did you identify the mailer (if you
only use User-Agent, you will ignore Outlook and some other wind-mailers)
In all honesty, I don't remember. I remember I did it "by hand", and
looked at the mail headers for clues. My sample was smaller than 100,
and to be honest I wasn't making an effort to get high accuracy. I was
just bored.
