Maybe you can fill in a few gaps in my ignorance.
I don't know anything about how a newsgroup copies or mirrors a
mailing list. Does a post to either of them turn up in both places?
If so, I think that if we set up a newsgroup, we definitely *do*
want to restrict posting permissions to list members only, just
as is the case with the Authors list at the moment.
