Hi Chris,
I agree that you have done a tremendous amount of work...
I've only ever reviewed a couple of the chapters, so I'm not
a well practiced reviewer of these things either, but I have
played with the system and its files enough to be able to
help with those types of hurdles, if that is where you need aid.
I think it may be easier for the maintainers, if you were to
download the chapters and add your suggested changes and
notes directly within the OpenOffice.org documents
themselves. To do this, download the document to your
machine and proceed as follows (copied from an older,
existing document):

The reason the way I did it was that Jean asked me to do it that way. I
agree that your method would have been better for all concerned,
whoever, I did what I was asked to do. Follows is an extract from
Jean's e-Mail to me.

Hi Chris,
The full book is only available in PDF, so you won't be able to edit it
in OOo. The problems I'm mostly concerned about now do NOT show up in
the individual chapter files, only in the combined PDF.
The easiest thing for me is for you to send me emails mentioning what
needs to be done (with page number), and I'll make the corrections. Copy
and paste can help speed this up. Hmmm... I haven't checked, but I think
if you have Adobe Reader you can copy text from this PDF.
Note: At this point I am not looking for much in the text itself except
things like missing words or doubled words or missing or wrong
cross-references, or things like that. If you happen to spot some
conspicuous badly worded text, then mention it of course, but general
rewriting for improvement will have to wait until a future revision of
the book.
Thank you for helping on this.
Cheers, Jean
