Thanks for the input. This is the decision I have reached. There
are 27 toolbars listed for Impress in OOo Beta2. (1.9.125) All of these
toolbars are also part of Draw. The purpose of Getting Started with
Impress is to state how to create a slide show. The emphasis is on
creating the slides. I believe that a person should know the basics of
Draw before adding more than simple drawings to a slide. After all,
learning how to make drawings while creating a slide is not likely to
give the best results.
So, I have added a paragraph at the beginning of my chapter stating
that a person wanting to make more than simple drawings on a slide
should first acquaint themselves with Getting Started with Draw and the
Draw component of OOo. Obviously, a person wanting much more
complicated drawings should use the User's Guide for advanced
instructions on Draw.
