It installed OK in Ubuntu 5.10 (Breezy), but it won't shut down.  It 
will create, edit, and save a file, but when I try to close the 
application, it won't close.  I have to manually kill the process.  It 
doesn't take anything with it, but I'd say that's a showstopper  ;-)

I installed on my W2K test laptop and didn't have any trouble. I don't 
dare attempt Fedora...eek. May be worth filing an issue or if you use 
IRC go to Freenode #openoffice.org.  Pavil is always online there.
