Hey,
Jean and Linda just put the OOoAuthors books on Lulu, and they're
letting OOoAuthors decide what to do with the money. I have an idea:
re-invest the money back into promoting the guides.
Start by buying ISBN numbers for the guides, because that will get them
into bigger outlets (Amazon). We can then donate some to schools, or
print a few and take them to conferences. We have a lot of school
contact here in the UK, so we might get a few sold here.
This way we'd have self-sustaining growth. The more copies sold the
easier it is to sell more. This would be a fantastic way to help OOo
because it is more sustainable. It won't get huge (OOo is still a niche
market) but it is a very efficient use of the money.
