Start by buying ISBN numbers for the guides, because that will get
them into bigger outlets (Amazon). We can then donate some to schools,
or print a few and take them to conferences. We have a lot of school
contact here in the UK, so we might get a few sold here.
This way we'd have self-sustaining growth. The more copies sold the
easier it is to sell more. This would be a fantastic way to help OOo
because it is more sustainable. It won't get huge (OOo is still a
niche market) but it is a very efficient use of the money.

Yes, first the ISBN service cost. Having the books on well know online
stores like Amazon.com would be so great. For sure it would increase the
chance that people will learn about them. I hope the books to be a huge hit.
For the next step, I like the suggestions about giving to schools and

I think promoting the guides is a really important thing.
So my final choice is:
1) Paying for the ISBN service cost.
2) Promoting the guides
3) Giving to schools and to people running booths at shows.
