Hi Jonathon
I missed a few days while I have been away but Sunday afternoon in the hotel I
read a few mails about this topic.
What about:
1. File->New->Database
2. Connect to an existing database / pulldown spreadsheet
3. Next
4. Browse for file ....
5. Next -> Finish

then name the file and save it.
You can then access the sheets in the worksheet as separate tables in the
database. Forms, Reports and Queries can be created as desired.
At present you cannot edit the field names etc but it is easy to produce a new
table with field names and types that are appropriate.
