You will have to change the file name before uploading it to its feedback folder. You will be adding your initials just before the .odt. For example, the Base chapter file name should be GettingStartedWithBase_DL_JHW_SR_19Apr06.odt if you were uploading it today. My initials come first because I am the maintainer. Jean reviewed it, so her initials came second. Your initials would be third because you are the second reviewer.

Some amendments to Dan's filename suggestion. First, there is no need to keep track of all the reviewers. Indeed, in most cases someone reviewing a published chapter would not know who had reviewed it previously.

Second, there really is no need to give the maintainer's initials, if it is a published chapter. All you need is the filename, the date, and the reviewer's initials. So in this case it would be 0110GS-GettingStartedWithBase_19Apr06_SR.odt

During development of a new chapter, we have been including the maintainer's initials as well as the reviewer's in the filename, but we don't include all the reviewers... just the latest. I don't even see any necessity for including the maintainer's initials there.

I think I will revise the page about filenaming to simplify this process.

The date is of the form DDMMMYY so that we always know when the last time it was uploaded.

That is very important!

Cheers, Jean
