I've now looked through my notelogs, and it appears that you have
completed all the things in the Calc Guide that you said you were
working on (reviewing various chapters).
On July 30, you said, "I'll do some learning about scenarios and
goal seek and let you know if I feel qualified to take a shot a
writing that chapter." Have you had a chance to do more about that?
Have you heard anything from Rick Barnes as to whether he has done
anything on the Creating Formulas and Using Functions chapter? If he
hasn't done anything, I'd be willing to start working on that one.
I haven't heard from Rick lately, but on 28 July he wrote:
"I have a draft that is over half done and it is..."Using
Formulas and Functions" (Chapter 3)... I will start on it in a
couple of days... I'll have it in a couple of weeks...I promise!"
At this point I think the most helpful thing you could do, if you
feel up to it, is to draft the missing bits of the *DataPilot*
chapter. See my note yesterday on this. I've also left notes in
the chapter itself.
