Gary,Since MS Word has no concept of page styles, that could be the source of your problem. I have not tried saving an ODT file (containing multiple page styles) into DOC so I have no personal experience to draw upon. I think there is some trick to making this work properly, but I can't recall what it is. Sounds like a good candidate for a problem-solving section in the Working with Styles chapter, when you get it sorted out.
