Pardon the ROFL, but it seems that people like me and thee write the
world's worst problem reports -- and I spent 40 years reading the things...
Best quick guess: you used that OO or ODF-sounding file type when
trying to upload, instead of the generic "File" type. (The site
software, ah, needs a little work.)

I tried to check in a new chapter today. I never checked it out because
it was sent to me directly by email.
So, First, i went here:
http://oooauthors.org/en/authors/userguide2/calc/folder_contents
I selected the Calc as a database chapter 13 and changed its state so it
showed as visible.
Next, I read this:
http://oooauthors.org/en/authors/userguide2/resources/howto_upload
Trying to "create a new item" that is an OOo Document causes a failure.
Also, it says something about using the same name then delete the
existing file first, so I deleted the existing file first. Well, I can
not upload the replacement, so you currently have no document at all.
Is there a problem with the site or is it all me?
Side note: Only once have I ever managed to upload a document, so it is
probably me.
