No other reason. However, keep in mind that some users place more importance on consistency than others do.

Our guidelines recommend that in any one chapter, all the screenshots be from the same o/s and theme, but in practice many chapters are not internally consistent.

I consider consistency of screenshots to be a low-priority concern (in the "nice-to-have" category), so I have been publishing chapters with mixed screenshots rather than waiting for someone to have time to make them consistent.

Of rather more importance is getting the labels and callouts (done with Writer's drawing tools) included in the images, but while people are doing those fixes, they might as well redo all the screenshots for consistency.

BTW, Peter H-B and I chose the WinXP silver theme because it's the best one we've found for producing crisp, clear screenshots that print well in both colour and black-and-white and look good when viewed on screen. I would prefer to use a Linux theme, but haven't found one that suits our criteria.
