Just one question: you mentioned that Figure 2 also needs replacing, but I could not work out what had changed.
Figure 2: under section Others there should be another tick box "Print automatically inserted blank pages"
It's not strictly an OOo2.3 change (it existed in 2.2.1) so maybe the figure remained from an earlier version.
