When I was using SnagIt for the screen captures, the graphics had a band of white space on the top part of those icons. I thought about taking a wider capture, but that the band was still there when viewing with SnagIt. So, cropping wouldn't help in that case. It might be a SnagIt problem or maybe due to the OS. I've never used SnagIt, but I can't see a problem with fixing the images with The GIMP, for example?
What do you mean by "originals?" The images used in developing the OOo Draw software?
Exactly that. The released product has thousands of iconic images embedded: I imagine that the dynamically constructed toolbars would be impossible to generate in any other way, although I haven't yet found all of them and their names tend do to be idiosyncratic.
