[Eventually (probably when hell freezes over), I'll put together a new
template for general OOoAuthors use.]
As threatened earlier, I finally modified the chapter template so that
the Note/Tip/Caution tables won't break across pages any longer. [Its
breaking only rarely happens anyway, but it was an unnecessary nuisance
and potential time bomb.]
Also the Default paragraph style was modified from 12pt to 11pt TNR and
some dependencies were linked to the Default style: OOoTextBody and
OOoTableText. Also the OOoComputerCode (our character style for
monospaced text) was changed from the Courier to Courier New. If that's
a problem for somebody, let me know. Courier is not a standard MS
Windows typeface (probably a Mac O/S typeface?). I don't have Courier...
Some further style dependencies were linked to OOoTextBody. So if you
now desire to modify the basic typeface for some reason, do it via the
Default style to save yourself some time.
OOoTextBody had its text flow set for 2/2 widow/orphan control instead
of having the entire paragraph on a page w/o breaking. This may cut down
the page count a bit.
If anybody wants any further style changes or reverting back to the
former (or other styles created or deleted), let me know...
ToDo list: Set up paragraph and list styles for the bulleted and
numbered lists so that those (nested, even) lists won't require any
manual overrides for formatting indents, vertical spacing, etc.
[add any of wants/suggestions here...]
