Most certainly. My goal is to have ODT files of the chapters that
convert 100% with DOC files after conversion. OOo frames do not achieve
that goal.
In fact, I just completely finished five minutes ago scrapping all the
frames and substituted tables for them. In addition, there are also new
figures (tables, naturally) for those several graphics that were not
previously listed as figures.
Plus, a few other minor copyediting errors were fixed. My first copyedit
was a quick 1-pass session, as there were other criteria that were
checked yesterday.
I already converted Chapter 4's ODT to DOC, and it looks OK. But the
conversion of some styles were not quite 100% identical. However, the
figures now with their graphics and captions now within table rows look
fine, and their captions don't have their formatting changed as before.
Also, a table of figures was appended so as to make detection of any
errors in figure captions easier to detect. So. all such chapters will
have an added ToF and and index in order to check for errors therein.
