[before my examining it...] Good. Was the Contour Editor covered? The GUI has a menuitem devoted to it, and I don't recall seeing anything about that any place in our documents.

Yes, the contour editor has its own section and also an example. I did
not go too much in detail on how to use the drawing tools in the editor
itself because it would have taken way too much space and they are
fairly intuitive...
Did you notice any changes to the supported file types? A couple years ago, I remember modifying that section (quite?) a bit.
Forgot to check that bit. I tried some of the wikipedia links and they
seemed to work. Will make another pass at some time.
Those Wiki links are probably mine from 2006. I thought that some of those were omitted earlier. It's been a while...
Also... as we do not revise documents very often, I was wondering
whether to include a fantastic new feature coming with OOo3.0, that is a
LaTex-like anchoring which allows you to anchor the graphics to the
paragraph but with some degree of flexibility. I tried it and in some
occasions it prevents the big white spaces at the end of the page that
are associated with the strict paragraph anchoring.
What do you think?

Cheers,

Michele
Anything new or novel is fine by me. I tend to use more of the features myself with my own work.

Is the version 3 out in beta yet? It's due for release in September.
