Hello Gary, *,

I have uploaded a revision of the working with graphics chapter of the
Writer Guide.
It does not have revision marks since I shuffled some sections around
and it became very difficult (slow) to work with the document. I did not touch the section on drawing objects, the section on captions,
the section on the gallery, while I restructured the rest of the
document so that now the outline looks as follows:

Graphics in Writer documents

Inserting an image from a file (linking vs embedding)
Inserting images from other sources (graphics software, scanner,
gallery)
Modifying an image (picture toolbar, cropping, rotating, ...)
Using Writer’s drawing tools
Setting or changing properties for drawing objects (resizing,
grouping)

Positioning graphics within the text
  Arranging graphics
  Anchoring graphics
  Aligning graphics
  Wrapping text around graphics
  Examples of wrapping

Adding captions to graphics

Adding an image to the Gallery

Graphic file types supported

I would like the last two chapters to be marked as annexes but I do not
recall what the decision was about them.

Cheers,

Michele
Michele,

I noticed that the frame used in Figure 1 only contains the caption--not the graphic. Its picture is located directly above the frame. Was that an oversight of mine from a previous revision, or was that changed somehow? I suppose that I could go back and check older versions as to its origin. But I was just curious why only that figure (hopefully) was that way. In any event, it's no big deal.
