Good point. Just to be clear, I was talking about docs written *about* 3.0, which need not be written *using* 3.0. As Gary says, using 2.3.1 for writing the docs is a lot safer at the moment.
And has anybody done any PDF import as yet? Anything written about that? There's nothing in the online Help.
I haven't tried any of the new 3.0 features yet myself, but the best place I've found so far for some previews and usage descriptions is http://www.oooninja.com/. I don't remember if they've covered PDF import, though. I vaguely recall seeing something about it, but I don't recall what or where. A search of the blog entries at http://blogs.sun.com/GullFOSS/ might turn up something.
The source for new Help entries (even though not yet integrated into the product) may be around somewhere that you could access. You might ask on the Docs list... if someone who is paying more attention than I am doesn't respond to your question soon.
