large chunks of this, together with a new set of figures, so I can't

I will review it and, if you don't mind will put myself as the
maintainer. The chapter is based on OOo 2.3.1 so I was wondering if
someone is aware of major changes to the mail merge functionality
introduced in 2.4 or that will be introduced in 3.0 (since I am
reviewing, besides applying the new template I might just as well add
the description of the new features-if any-)
I have a keen interest in revealing how easy and powerful OOo is for
mail merging, but if you want to take it on, go for it!
