Hello Jean,

I can confirm that when creating a right aligned list with 3.0(m17) it
does not open correctly with 2.4.1 or with 2.3.1. In the other
direction instead (from 2.3.1 to 3.0(m17)) it works, however the
"position" options tab reverts to the "old" style.
Personally I found the old style position tab more intuitive, but I am
probably biased as it took me a while to master it :-)
What I noticed so far regarding the new position tab:
- the field "at" below the spacing option does not seem to have any
effect in case you define an indentation
- it is possible to write to the left of the left margin if you right
align at 0. This is quite interesting as up to 2.4 it was strictly
forbidden to write outside the text area.

Some months ago I wrote something in chapter 6 or 7 of the Writer
guide about lists and I will try to update it some time this week.

Cheers,

Michele
