Both the Getting Started and Writer guides are available for review, but as Jean stated it would be good to get the GSG out as early as possible. > > 2. I am currently using V2.4.1 of the software. There has been a rather major change between 2.x and 3.x and in particular, if you save a document produced with v3 with an earlier version all the lists (numbered and bullet) will be compromised. And finally an observation: when replying to messages on this mailing list, people tend to either write their own text in the middle of the original mail (interspersed posting -see above) or just write the reply below the original email (bottom posting). Another thing that some people do (I often forget) is to remove the parts of the original message that are not essential to understand the reply. This is all explained here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Posting_style Bottom or interspersed posting are not by any means a rule, but since everybody seems to be using it, if you don't find it too inconvenient it would be nice if you could also adapt to this. The risk is to have emails in a confusing order such as in this example of a thread with 4 messages: 3rd message from Barbara 1st message from Jean 2nd message from Gary 4th message from Sak Cheers, Michele
