[authors] ***PING*** Introducing Base Chapter

    I have uploaded this first chapter of the Base Guide to the Draft 
folder for Base 3. I started this chapter a long time ago, so it may 
need some very serious reviews and perhaps some replacement screenshots 
as well. I'm still not sure exactly what is wanted in the last two 
sections, but I have indicated some of the things I think might need to 
be included.
