Welcome. I have been working on the Base Guide. I have written the
first chapter, and there is much that needs to be done on it. It is
being reviewed right now. It is located in the feedback folder for Base:

This might give you an idea of what has been done so far. I am beginning to
think that this chapter is far too long (34,000 words). Maybe you will have
some suggestions as to where fewer words should be used.
Someone else will be contacting you concerning the author role. They have
the authority to give people the author role. I do not. I can say that they
will be happy to have you and will give you further instructions as to where to
start.
