As a newbie, I want to begin by reviewing a file.
I am unable to locate a "Review" tab in the left navigation column, and
understand that means nothing is available to review. I also understand that
there are always other things to do, so I thought providing feedback on
something would be the next best place to start.
I've downloaded 0101GS3-IntroducingOOo_GS.odt located here:
Navigation > English > userguide3 > Getting Started 3 > gs3_feedback, and
notice that it contains useful feedback by Gary Schnabl.
What is the specific path I need to follow to find the same version of this
document so that I may download it and provide feedback? Do I take it from
gs3_published?
Where do I find other documents that require feedback?
After you log in to the OOoAuthors website, be sure you are in the
English language section. http://www.oooauthors.org/english
If you do not see the "Review List" in the left-hand column, below the
Navigation links, then something is wrong. It is a long list, and
there definitely are items to review! The ones in English are all in
the Calc Guide, but you would also be welcome to review any of the
others. I recommend the Impress Guide over Getting Started, btw. It
has not been reviewed by nearly as many people.
I'll answer your other question later, after I check to make sure what
the latest version of that file is. We can't go by the "last modified"
date shown on the website for a lot of the files, because those are
often the dates on which they were migrated to the new website, not
the actual date of modification. (As if there weren't enough other
things to confuse everyone!)
