I am specifically searching for the word "review," perhaps that is what is

I just logged in with my alternative account that only has Author
permission and I don't see the Review List either. I don't know what
is going on! But I'm glad you reported it, so we can try to fix it. No
doubt other people have been confused too.
I'll look into it, but I am far from an expert on Plone, the program
that runs this website, so unless I'm exceedingly lucky, sorting this
out might take awhile. Dontcha just love software?
Meanwhile, if you go to this page, you should see some files with
"Pending review" in the State column.

Those are the files that you would see on the Review List if you could
see the list. You should be able to collect from there any that you
would like to work on.
