Just curious as to how the feedback process works here in regard to
reviewing and proofreading.

After someone reviews a chapter, the person responsible for that chapter goes through the review, accepts or rejects the reviewer's tracked changes, and revises any material that needs rewriting in response to the reviewer's comments. The responsible person then resubmits the chapter for further review, or publishes it, depending on its state of development and the extent of the changes made.

(Aside: In theory, the responsible person is the primary author of the chapter, but in practice it's usually me or Michele Zarri, because a lot of the original authors are no longer active.)

I try to give feedback to new reviewers, regarding what they did right or wrong (IMO), but I confess that I don't always do that because I get distracted by other work and forget.

BTW, I haven't yet got to checking your review of that particular chapter. So many chapters, so little time! ;-)
