The actual automounter map is the parsed concatenation of all input sources, with `+' being a directive to tell the parser how to proceed during the input processs? In our Solaris cluster, we make a lot of use of being able to tweak, or override, bits of the global NIS+ maps with little local /etc/ maps; it's a powerful function. Pete.
