jakarta-avalon-excalibur/info | avalon-sandbox/meta/infoYou mean avalon-sandbox/info right?
I think that's a safe assumption. :-)
This is content that deals with more than Fortress - there is also the concern for the representation of ECM configuraiton as avalon-sandbox/meta content. It also a prime sandbox candidate because it is very much a work in progress. IHMO the only things that should stay in Excalibur a released packages.jakarta-avalon-excalibur/xfc |I would like to keep this in excalibur proper - at least for now. It needs to be integrated into Fortress so that Fortress can the same stuff as ecm hosts. After that I think we can move to completely deprecating ECM and pointing at fortress.
avalon-sandbox/xfc
Excalibur extension has only been stable for a few months - I know because the last bunch of changes broke Merlin. The documetation is practically non-existant - basically this isn't ready for prime time and should move to sandbox as we bring it up to a potential release candidate.jakarta-avalon-excalibur/extensionDon't want that moved. It is not released but it is stable and has been for more than a year and is used in Phoenix.
Cheers, Steve.
However, it seems the stuff I mentioned is all so unstable it is sort-ofI want to keep the cvs history for info/containerkit. You can keep it by doing something like
okay not to keep the cvs history? (The history would still be available
in the attic of the excalibur cvs.)
ssh cvs.apache.org
$ cd /home/cvs/jakarta-avalon-sandbox
$ cp -R ../jakarta-avalon-excalibur/info .
$ cp -R ../jakarta-avalon-excalibur/containerkit .
$ chown -R leosimons.jakarta info containerkit
$ chmod -R [inset proper perms here] info containerkit
