The whole purpose of the discussion Peter is having with the board is about figuring out where it went wrong. The board can only explain their causes of wanting to talk to him at day 1, but the process of finding the underlying causes is something that requires cooperation and takes time.

A guilty conscience is a pain, agreed. But seriously, what's so bad about being next? I'm sure that if I found a note from Sam in my inbox informing me that WHEREAS the board think so BE IT RESOLVED that Leo Sutic is a useless bastard and BE IT RESOLVED that his account is suspended etc. I would contact the board and probably have the issues straightened out by the next day.

Why is everyone making such a big deal of this?
