I've just emailed Sam to give me gumpability privs.

$ ssh cvs.apache.org
$ cat /home/cvs/CVSROOT/avail | grep gump
avail||jakarta-gump

IOW: everyone with write access to some part of apache cvs has write access to gump.

I received an email from Sam a few hours ago confirming the same thing.

Following that I've put in place gump dscriptors for the following:

  * avalon-sandbox/lifecycle
  * avalon-sandbox/meta
  * avalon-sandbox/assembly
  * avalon-sandbox/merlin

I'll leave Tweety to you!

I agree with whoever said that Tweety should probably not be developed further as a seperate project but rather rolled in with existing docs. As such, I don't intend to put it in gump but rather dissolve it into existing materials. I want to refactor it as some sort of testcase/spec/example, to tie in with "Developing with Avalon" and Fortress.

+1

A couple of other items:

 1. fortress needs to be updated with respect to the meta package
    (switch from excalibur meta to sandbox meta)

I believe the code with a dependency on either has been moved to src/ng/, and thus can be removed completely.

I'l start digging.

 2. deletion of the excalibur assembly and meta packages

I can take care of the above two later today.

be careful :D

What could I possible do that would cause a problem ?

;-)

Cheers, Steve.

cheers,
