mpg4c32.dll DOES support YUY2 colorspace! (at least in mplayer :))
videocodec mpeg4
info "Microsoft MPEG-4 v1/v2"
status working
; comment "No postprocessing"
fourcc MPG4,mpg4
fourcc MP42,mp42
fourcc DIV2 mp42
driver vfw
dll "mpg4c32.dll"
out YUY2 yuvhack
out BGR32,BGR24,BGR15
but it requires the same hack as VfW divx codec.
(set compression to 0 when qiery/init codec, and set to yuy2 only
when decompressing frames)

no, mpg4c32.dll supports MPG4 and MP42 formats.
ffmpeg can't handle it.
