Oh I see. If every other linux apps compile BUT avifile, then it's
non-standard? Grow up plz :)

Ehh. You don't seem to get that by fixing problems of INDIVIDUALS (for the
last months), the whole will still be buggy. You shouldn't try to gain
users one by one.. If I'd write for example:
./configure: line 524: syntax error near unexpected token
`AM_INIT_AUTOMAKE(libmmxnow,0.1)'
and someone'd solve it (them) thus making avifile compile for me, it wouldn't
make me happy (I don't need avifile). What I want is understatement :)
