That's funny, I'm running realplayer just fine.  I'm sure many 
other Red Hat Linux 7.2 users are using it without a hitch on 
this list also.

Instead of making false claims of broken glibc, please provide 
information to show where you are coming to these conclusions 
rather than random conjecture.

This seems more of distribution bashing than anything.

If you have found a legitimate bug in glibc, provide the evidence 
of that, and we will look into it.  So far I have seen nothing.

And... avifile works fine.  Anyone can easily verify that, as it 
compiles and runs very nicely.  Runs better than the other player 
I was using also.

Not possible to debug a problem which doesn't seem to be
reproduceable.  Again however, if you can give detailed
information on how to reproduce this alleged problem, using any
release of Red Hat Linux, and explain how and why you think it is
a glibc bug, with valid facts, and not just "it don't work", then
you can perhaps get a better answer on how to fix the problem
that only you are experiencing.
