It shouldn't be that hard - some minor fixes I'd would have
expected for ffmpeg compilation (probably the current version
in avifile cvs ins't compilable as there are now some 
patches in ffmpeg which actually should make it compilable
again on alphas)

But for experienced program these fixes should be relatively simple
to do.
