Summary: windows placement is too smart

Initial Comment:
when aviplay creates video output window, it overrides
x window manager settings and tries to place it in own
way. This works correctly with KDE, but causes problems
with Gnome + Enlightenment or Sawfish. In sawfish
window is placed in upper left possition. Not a big
problem, window still can be moved. But in
Enlightenment window's upper left corner goes out of
current workspace. It is impossible to move the window
without changing the workspace.

Maybe it is possible to have some option that does not
allow such "smart" behavior.

System: Linux Debian Woody with updates from
security.debian.org.

Tested with avifile v.0.7.22-20021129 and with 20021208
cvs.

Aviplay is using SDL for X-Window operation
so this is most probably bug related to SDL
library and should be resolved there.
Also if you have any patches which would have
fixed this behaviour in aviplay - you may
send them.
