Hey Carl,

I've always had a problem with Lightwave's export...can you try this and see
if it helps any?

Select all the faces and say "unweld". I don't know if it'll help you but in
my case I notticed Lightwave screws the UV's up ALWAYS. the only way I was
ever to get a UV map out correctly is to unweld the points connecting the
faces in the UV.

Let me know if it makes any difference for you, or if your object is showing
up any different/better hopefully.
