It should be as easy as you explained, like

var mView:MovieClip;
var view:View3D;

Then inside the functions you can access it like:

function createAway3Dscene(){
   mView=addChild(new MovieClip());//or movieclip from the library
   view =mView.addChild(new View3D());
}

Just make sure you set the x and y's of view and mView, otherwise "view"
might end up in the top left of your stage.
