Greetings gents, I was wondering if there are any useful article or examples for what i wanted to do.
I have a sphere primitive on which i am loading a texture (jpeg) of a large size (round 1mb). I was wondering if there is a suggested way to maybe slice this texture in a standard way and load those slices on the sphere to increase performance? And load the section that is in view first and the rest gradually. Any advice would be appreciated. Sincerely Dan
