Ok, I messed around with the Face() object and it seems like it is
exactly what i was looking for, EXCEPT i can't figure out one tiny
thing as described below:

var hex:Face = new Face();   // Create Face object
     hex.moveTo(0,0,0);
     hex.lineTo(x,y,z);            // x,y,z= some number
     hex.lineTo(x,y,z);            // x,y,z= some number
